30 Places to Know in Punta Cana PART 1

Due to the unexpected success of our series 30 Places to Know in Punta Cana in 30 Days, we decided to make public the list of all places and their respective locations. Today we start with the first ten episodes.

1. Punta Cana Resort and Club

This is where it all started 50 years ago. Punta Cana Resort & Club is both a resort and a residential community. Besides famous hotels, white beaches, a PGA Golf course, a tennis academy, natural parks and even an equestrian center all set on 15,000 acres of land.

2. Bavaro Beach

Bavaro Beach is a long and wide stretch of beach with white and fine sand, turquoise water and lots of palm trees. Most of the tourists that come to Punta Cana on vacation stay in the hotels located here in Bavaro.

3. Hospiten

Hospiten is the first major hospital that opened here in Punta Cana. It belongs to a Spanish healthcare network that runs hospitals in Spain, Mexico, Jamaica and Panama. They have lots of specialties, an emergency room and they work with all major local and international insurance companies.

4. Los Corales Beach

This public beach is located in the Los Corales neighborhood.

5. Ole

Ole is one of the largest supermarkets in Punta Cana. It’s located in Bavaro City Plaza, at the entrance of Pueblo Bavaro. Here you’ll find fresh groceries, clothes, footwear, toys and electronics.

6. Cocobongo

Opened back in 2014 Coco Bongo brought the nightlife in Punta Cana to a whole new level. Running fabulous live shows that combine cinema, theater, musicals, disco, videos, acrobatics, technology, actors, public and lots of surprises, Coco Bongo guarantees a special night for everyone. It’s located  in Downtown Punta Cana so it’s very accessible from any part of Punta Cana.

7. BlueMall

Blue Mall is the largest shopping Mall in Punta Cana. Located just 2 kilometers from Punta Cana International Airport, Blue Mall consists of an air-conditioned single level building, with shops of great international brands (Zara, Desigual, Pandora, Nike, Under Armour, EGO, Aliss, Zigo), excellent national and international restaurants, a wide offer of services and a fantastic entertainment area that includes an outdoor amphitheater.

8. San Juan Park

Located near the San Juan Shopping Center, this small but very nice park it’s an oasis of fresh air and tranquility. The park also features a stage where shows or concerts for children are played once in a while.

9. Foodies Park

Located right across the Pueblo Bavaro and Bavaro City Center, Foodies Park Veron it’s an outdoor food court with more than a dozen restaurants. You’ll find here lots of different cuisines, live music or DJ in the evenings, and a games center for the kids.

10. IMG

The IMG Hospital is a third level health center in the area of Bavaro Punta Cana. Opened in 2017, this is the newest hospital in Punta Cana and is equipped with high technology according to international standards. It works with all major local and international health insurance companies.
